How enquiries, clinical assessment, and treatment planning are handled.
Clinical Assessment Required
Information on this website does not replace an in-person examination.
These terms explain how Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry (“UNIANKADENT”) provides information and dental care to local and international patients. They describe the difference between a website enquiry and a clinical decision. They do not promise a particular medical result.
1. Scope of Medical Services
UNIANKADENT provides dental consultation and treatment within Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry. The website explains the services that may be available and how to contact the clinic.
Reading this website, or sending an enquiry, does not create a treatment agreement and does not mean that a particular procedure will be offered or is suitable for you.
2. Preliminary Information & Remote Assessments
Messages, photographs, radiographs, or other files sent through the website can help the clinic understand your request. They are preliminary information only.
A remote exchange cannot replace a clinical examination. It is not a final diagnosis, and it is not a confirmed treatment plan.
3. Clinical Examination Requirement
Before treatment is agreed, a dentist needs to assess you in clinic.
In-Person Assessment
The dentist reviews your medical history, examines you, and considers any images or records that are clinically necessary.
No Remote Diagnosis
Information on this website, and replies to an enquiry, are not a substitute for that examination.
4. Treatment Planning
A treatment plan is prepared after clinical assessment. It explains the proposed care, the main alternatives that are relevant, and the points you should consider before you decide.
The plan can change if the examination, radiographs, or your medical history show something that was not visible beforehand. You will be told about a material change before treatment continues.
5. Patient Responsibilities
Safe care depends on accurate information from you.
Medical History:
Tell the clinic about conditions, medicines, allergies, and previous dental treatment that may affect your care.
Questions:
Ask for an explanation of any part of the plan, the expected course of care, or a risk you do not understand.
Instructions:
Follow the preparation and after-care instructions you are given, and contact the clinic if something does not go as explained.
6. Appointments & Scheduling
Appointments are arranged through the clinic’s contact channels. Please arrive at the time you are given, or tell the clinic as early as you can if you need to change the appointment, so that the time can be offered to another patient.
An appointment request sent through the website is a request only. It is confirmed when the clinic accepts it.
7. Fees, Payments & Quotations
Any figure discussed before a visit is an estimate based on the information available at that time. It can change after clinical assessment.
The fee for proposed treatment is explained before you decide to proceed. Paying a fee, or receiving an estimate, does not guarantee a particular clinical outcome.
8. Medical Risks & Expected Outcomes
Dental treatment has benefits and risks. These depend on your oral health, general health, and the procedure being considered. Your dentist will explain the risks that are relevant to you.
No treatment outcome can be guaranteed. Photographs and descriptions on this website show examples of care. They are not a promise that your result will be the same.
9. International Patient Coordination
The clinic can help international patients with appointment information and the practical details of a visit. That assistance does not replace your own arrangements for travel, accommodation, insurance, or entry to Türkiye.
A remote enquiry does not reserve a treatment date and does not confirm that a procedure is appropriate for you.
10. Privacy & Medical Records
Personal and clinical information is handled in line with the Privacy & KVKK Compliance Notice published on this website. Please read that notice for how patient information is used and how to ask a question about it.
11. Emergency Situations
This website is not an emergency service, and a message sent through the contact form is not monitored as an emergency line.
If you have a dental or medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or attend an emergency clinic. Do not wait for a reply to a website enquiry.
12. Contact
Questions about an appointment or a proposed visit can be sent through the contact form on this website. Clinical decisions are made by the dentist who assesses you, not by this page.
